ABOUT THIS COURSE
An excellent introduction to asbestos awareness, this course will allow the learners to recognise legislation and guidance, understand the process involved in recognising asbestos to ensure the safety of the operator.
CONTENT
- Recognise asbestos, its usages, and where it can be found;
- Identify how asbestos can affect your health, and the added dangers of smoking;
- Define work your allowed to do by law, and the methods that should be used, and the equipment needed to do the job properly;
- State correct selection of PPE, how to look after it, and how to decontaminate yourself and the work area.
QUALIFICATION GAINED
A Seta Cetificate will be issued after completion of the course.
