ABOUT THIS COURSE
As an excellent practical introduction to hydraulics, this course provides instruction in safety, circuitry, componentry, design, construction and fault finding. Instruction takes place both in the classroom and in Seta’s state-of-the-art workshop facilities.
This course is ideally suited to those with little or no hydraulics experience.
CONTENT
- Safety relevant to hydraulics
- Interpretation of hydraulic drawing and symbols
- The hydraulic circuit and its components: pumps; pipe lines; filtration; cylinders; valves; and control mechanisms
- Circuit design - theory and practice of sequence control
- Practical circuit construction
- Fault finding on hydraulic circuits
