Job Role

The role is 37 hours. Monday – Thursday 08.00 – 16:30 Friday 08.00 – 13.00 and duties will include:

• Required to understand fault diagnostic methods, techniques and equipment used when maintaining equipment and systems
• Understand condition monitoring methods, equipment used and how the information gained supports the planning of maintenance activities
• Required to understand how to minimise machinery downtime by implementing planned preventative maintenance programmes
• Be required to carry out condition monitoring and planned maintenance activities of plant and equipment
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team
• Complete all necessary college work on time and to the correct standard
• Complete the requirements of the apprenticeship which requires in house company training
• Adopt a continuous improvement attitude in developing work throughout
• Take an active role in adhering to quality control and quality standards

Applicants must have GCSE Grade 4 or above in English, maths and science.

Salary

The successful applicants will start in September on a salary of £7.55 per hour with increments based on successful progression.
