Location: Wear Industrial Estate, Washington

Salary: £3.70 an hour. Immediate start or June/July start

  • Website enquiry management and updating
  • Monitoring and groundwork on current lead sources
  • Prospecting support
  • Event planning support
  • Print material management
  • Company newsletter inc CSR reporting
  • Order processing
  • Enquiry and quotes support inc following up

Role: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, Shipping and Warehouse Support Administration

Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear

Salary: Minimum £3.70 per hour. Immediate start

Duties:

  • Process Commercial Invoices & Packing lists
  • Ensure the Company retains Export Evidence (for 7 years) in a filing and logging system
  • Ensure the Company retains Import Evidence (for 7 years) in a filing and logging system
  • Ensure the company is prepared for HMRC audits
  • Support shipping and Warehouse staff on goods out regarding all documents
  • Training on an ERP computer system
  • Communicate with customers and work with sales people to aide good service
  • General filing of all documents
  • Use Export procedures, control goods, check documents prior to shipment
  • Use Import procedures, control goods, check documents prior to and receiving deliveries
  • Complete external Documents (Export) through Chambers of Commerce and Embassy’s; EUR1 Form, ATR document, Certificate of Origin (COO)
  • Provide shipping quotations for both Export and Import, to and from the Company: Sea, Air, Road and Courier

Role: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, Welding and Fabrication x 4

Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear

Salary: Minimum £3.70 per hour

Duties:

  • To work in steel assembly on the manufacturing of crane structures.
  • Fabrication crane parts to tight tolerances.
  • Welding to international standards.
  • When necessary assist in other areas for example burning and plate preparation area.
  • Comply with all health and safety instructions.
  • Comply with company policies procedures and all drawings/ part lists.
  • As a trainee they must be willing to gain knowledge and take instruction with regards to manufacturing processes within the company.

Role: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, Multi-skilled Technician x 3

Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear 

Salary: Minimum £3.70 per hour. September start

Duties:

  • To assist and at times manufacture various types of cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Installation of electrical mechanical and hydraulic components including pre-assembly and final connections. Build cranes from start to finish and hand over to the final testing department.
  • When necessary assist in other areas for example test area.

Role: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, Technical Engineering/Design Draughtsman

  • Interpreting customer requirements from 2D layout drawings
  • Utilise AutoCAD & SolidWorks to design and develop products
  • Produce clear working drawings and instructions for efficient and accurate product manufacture

Role: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, Electrical

Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear

Salary: Minimum £3.70 per hour. September start

Duties:

  • Reading, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to see layout of electrical equipment installations
  • Tests electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Installs, repairs, or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic
  • Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, switch boxes, conduits, lighting, PLC’s and alternative electrical parts
  • Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage batteries
  • Do preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment)
  • Installs electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment.
  • Works on electrical failures and replaces components wherever production time is often affected
  • Corrects connections and wiring on equipment controls wherever incorrect applications may cause harm and dangerous conditions
  • Conducts preventive and maintenance programs
  • May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial equipment and connected devices
  • Complies with standards and procedures of industry, Safety Manual, and abide by safety rules.
  • Complete all necessary college work on time and to the correct standard.

Role: Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship, Fabrication and Stores

Location: Leechmere East Industrial Estate, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear

Salary: Minimum £3.70 per hour. Immediate start

Duties:

  • Making of wooden boxes (joinery skills)
  • Packing of boxes
  • Metalwork skills such as grinding, plasma cutting, tube cutting using the press, set up pipework.
  • Testing of pipework.
  • Moving pipes around stores

Role: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, Machining

Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear

Salary: £5.00 per hour. Immediate start or June start

Duties:

  • Carry out CNC Milling and Turning machining on bespoke components.
  • To programme CNC machines to company standards.
  • Complete the requirements of the apprenticeship which includes additional in house company training.
  • Complete all necessary college work on time and to the correct standard.
