Ofsted Report

Seta has officially retained its ‘Good’ training provider rating by Ofsted, following a short inspection in March 2017. This result was achieved against the most recent and more demanding Common Inspection Framework standard. 

Retaining this grade is a demonstration of our commitment to continuous improvement in the management and delivery of high quality training.

Key comments recorded in the inspection report include:

“Seta plans training programmes well and supports apprentices very effectively”

“Pass rates are very high and all learners who complete the programme successfully achieve”

“Tutors use a wide range of resources effectively to engage apprentices in their learning, and apprentices are able to apply their knowledge well to practical tasks in the workshops”

“Tutors plan assessments well in collaboration with apprentices and employers”

“Senior managers and staff are currently working together with employers to develop the new apprenticeship standards, including additional qualifications to enhance apprentices’ workplace skills”
